Our plastic petri dishes are manufactured from medical-grade, optically clear, virgin polystyrene (PS) to ensure distortion-free microscopy.

• Material: Precision-molded polystyrene (PS).

  • Sterile (Gamma Irradiated): Certified pyrogen-free and sterile, ideal for sensitive microbial and tissue culture. Often feature specialized surface treatments (e.g., standard Tissue Culture treatment) to promote cell attachment and proliferation.

  • Non-Sterile (Bulk Pack): Cost-effective solution for general laboratory applications, media preparation, and observation where sterility is not critical.

• Key Features:

  • Vented lids allow for optimal gas exchange while maintaining a barrier against contamination.

  • Stacking rings engineered into the lids ensure stability during incubation and transport.

  • Completely flat growth surfaces optimize uniform media distribution.
